This image is built on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, which is currently available on Amazon Web Services (AWS). It’s important to note that Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 will reach their end of support on October 10th, 2023. Consequently, these images will be removed from the AWS Marketplace after this date. Existing custom AMIs and active EC2 instances will remain unaffected, but we strongly advise upgrading to ensure ongoing support.
