NVIDIA Deep Learning AMI

The NVIDIA cuQuantum Appliance represents a high-performance solution designed for quantum circuit simulation across multiple GPUs and nodes. It encompasses two key libraries, namely NVIDIA cuStateVec and cuTensorNet, each tailored to optimize state vector and tensor network simulations. The functionality of the cuTensorNet library can be accessed through Python for Tensor Network operations. Within the cuStateVec libraries, NVIDIA provides the following simulators:

IBM Qiskit Aer frontend via cusvaer, serving as NVIDIA’s distributed state vector backend solver.
A multi-GPU-optimized Google Cirq frontend via qsim, functioning as Google’s state vector simulator.
The NVIDIA cuQuantum Appliance VMI package includes several components:

Ubuntu Server 20.04
NVIDIA Driver
NVIDIA cuQuantum Appliance Docker Container
Docker-ce
NVIDIA Container Toolkit
AWS CLI
NGC CLI
Miniconda
JupyterLab (available within the conda base environment)
Git
