Casper Blockchain Node – Validators, Operators, dApps & Smart Contracts

Facilitating Smooth and Dependable dApp Connections
Operating your personal Casper node grants you access to JSON RPC endpoints and a Server-Sent Event (SSE) Stream that you have full control over. This empowers your applications with a reliable link to the network.

Robust Cloud Infrastructure via AWS
The AWS Casper Node operates on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), harnessing the flexibility of virtual machine allocation within the AWS cloud computing platform.

Effortless Configuration for Scalability
The AWS Casper Node AMI comes with an initial provision of 500GBs of Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) storage. To synchronize a full node with Mainnet, it’s necessary to increase this allocation to at least 1.6 TBs. Currently, the recommended storage amount for Mainnet stands at 2 TBs.

Seamless Integration with Mainnet
Upon joining the Mainnet network, the node initiates the synchronization of the entire blockchain history, which may take some time to complete. Once synchronization is achieved, the node actively participates in gossiping consensus and state trie messages across the network.

Effortless Network Creation in Minutes
For those establishing their own network using a separate Casper instance, configuring the chainspec and initiating from the genesis block is almost immediate. It’s important to note that this network will remain separate and won’t be connected to the Casper Public Mainnet.
