This is a repackaged software product based on open-source RedHat Enterprise Linux RHEL 9.
It provides a ready-to-use minimal RHEL 9 image with a 16 GiB default instance volume managed using LVM. Users can log in with the ‘ec2-user’ username using SSH public key authentication, while root login is disabled.
The product is integrated with RedHat Update Infrastructure (RHUI) across all AWS regions, enabling the installation of new RPM packages and updates without requiring a RedHat9 subscription.
