Oracle Linux Server release 7.9

This represents a repackaged open-source software product, and it’s crucial to understand that there are extra charges associated with it. Specifically, it provides an Oracle Linux Server version 9.2 AMI with ENA Support Enabled on Oracle Unbreakable Kernel (OUK) version 5.15.

Oracle Linux Server is fully compatible with Redhat releases. However, it incorporates a higher kernel version and dependencies, which means it’s advisable to use the native rpm repositories. This AMI operates as a Hardware Virtualized Machine (HVM), 64-bit, and utilizes the ec2-user SELinux context. It’s based on the Oracle Linux Server minimal installation, making it suitable for nano instance types while also offering scalability to larger instance types and flexibility for installing additional packages as needed.

Unlike some alternative pricing models, TLC charges a single, low hourly or yearly rate, regardless of the instance size. Please note that optional Oracle Enterprise OEL support is available but not included in this package.

Lastly, it’s essential to understand that this is a repackaged software product, and extra charges apply for system updates and product development.
