Jenkins Slave for Ubuntu 22.04

The Jenkins slave AMI is preloaded with a comprehensive set of popular tools required for various build jobs and automation tasks in Jenkins:

Git Client
Java OpenJDK 8 as the default Java installation
OpenJDK releases from 9 through 14
GNU C/C++ compilers
Go compiler
Python 2.7 and 3.x
All these tools are installed following official guidelines, ensuring a standardized environment for building on this AMI.

These build slaves are optimized for use with Jenkins servers and are compatible with Jenkins server versions 2.232 and above. Both Jenkins server and slave AMIs are available for various major Linux distributions.

A range of software applications, including WordPress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications, have been released by the provider, making them valuable resources for system administrators and DevOps engineers. Additionally, there are hardened images available for selected Linux distributions, based on CIS benchmarks.
