Jenkins on Ubuntu 22.04

The Jenkins slave AMI, carefully curated by our team, comes preloaded with a comprehensive suite of popular tools essential for running a wide range of build jobs and automation tasks within Jenkins:

Git Client
Ant
Maven
Gradle
Java OpenJDK 8 as the default Java installation
OpenJDK releases spanning from 9 to 14
GNU C/C++ compilers
Go compiler
Python 2.7 and 3.x
Docker
Node.js
Ansible
AWS CLI
kubectl
These tools have all been meticulously installed in accordance with official guidelines. This means you won’t need to contend with any custom environments, allowing you to build on the solid foundation provided by this AMI.

For optimal compatibility and performance, we recommend using these build slaves in conjunction with Jenkins servers created from Kurian’s Jenkins Server AMIs, starting from version 2.232 and beyond. It’s worth noting that both Jenkins server and slave AMIs are readily available for all major Linux distributions.
