This is a repackaged open-source software product where additional charges apply for patching the operating system and maintenance. The Jenkins slave AMI is preconfigured with most of the popular tools needed for various build jobs and automation tasks on Jenkins:

All these tools are installed following the official vendor guidelines, eliminating the need to deal with any custom environment, and allowing you to build on the baseline build platform available on this AMI. The build slaves created from this AMI work best with Jenkins servers created from the Jenkins Server line of AMIs provided by Kurian. Both Jenkins server and slave AMIs are available for all major Linux distributions.
