This software package has been repackaged to cover the costs associated with the installation and setup of OpenJDK. OpenJDK offers access to the complete source code necessary for the Java Development Kit (JDK). However, to execute an application compiled into Java bytecode, a separate binary distribution of the JDK is required. It’s important to note that OpenJDK does not supply any pre-compiled binary distributions.
