This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for patching the operating system and the maintenance provided.

The latest, stable version of Docker is installed and configured on this AMI that is built on the OS updated with the latest patches. When the EC2 node is spun up from this AMI, it is ready with the Docker service running and available for use, for building images and running microservices.

software applications such as WordPress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications that are widely used by system administrators and DevOps engineers are also available. For selected Linux distributions, hardened images based on CIS benchmark are also available. The AMIs are built following official installation steps, so you do not need to learn any custom procedures if additional configurations need to be done.

This AMI has been packaged using license-free community versions of the software applications included for the ease of deployment and implementing operational best practices.
