Linux operating systems AMIs are patched and uptodate on the day of the release, and the updates are published every quarter. These AMIs are ideal to be used in automated provisioning processes such as that in an autoscale group without having to worry about the availability of latest patches and the delay of applying those before adding the machines to a cluster.

Based on this baseline operating system, has released software applications such as WordPress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications that are widely used by system administrators and DevOps engineers. For selected Linux distributions hardened images based on CIS benchmark are also available. The AMIs are built following official installation steps so you do not need to learn any custom procedures.
